Each collection begins as a slow conversation. Ideas drift toward one another, references answer back, and somewhere within that quiet exchange, a story begins to breathe. Like sand falling through an hourglass, the instant cannot be held, only watched as it slips away, and so we reach for it anyway, hoping to leave behind a trace the hours cannot erase.

Every LANSAR creation follows a journey shaped by many hands.

It begins with an original artwork before finding its way to the ateliers of Lake Como, where generations of artisans continue to preserve techniques that machines cannot replace. Colours are prepared with precision, each creation is carefully printed, and every edge is hand-rolled and hand-finished, one by one.

These are not simply production methods, but gestures repeated for decades, quietly refined, patiently transmitted, and carried forward by people who have devoted their lives to their craft.

For us, craftsmanship is not only about how something is made. It is about preserving the knowledge, the care and the human touch behind every creation.

A LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDER

J'ai toujours aimé les objets qui se transmettent de génération en génération.
Non pas seulement pour leur beauté, mais pour tout ce qu'ils portent en eux : le temps, les mains et les histoires qui les ont marqués.
Pendant longtemps, j'ai ressenti que cette façon de créer disparaissait lentement. Tout semblait être fait plus vite, consommé plus vite, et oublié tout aussi rapidement.
LANSAR est née de cette prise de conscience.
Je voulais construire une maison qui honore le temps à nouveau. Un lieu où les artistes et les artisans sont libres de créer sans compromis, et où chaque collaboration commence par une vision partagée plutôt que par une tendance passagère.
Chaque collection démarre d'une idée qui me reste. J'imagine d'abord son univers, puis je cherche l'artiste dont la sensibilité peut la révéler à sa manière. C'est dans ce dialogue entre la vision, l'art et le savoir-faire que chaque création trouve sa place.
Mon espoir est simple : créer des pièces qui seront chéries aujourd'hui et transmises aux générations futures.
